City of Camorr

I wanted to share an experiment I did a while ago, in which I tried to figure out a not too time consuming way of using 3D in my otherwise mostly 2D workflow. It's roughly based on the city of Camorr from the book 'The Lies Of Locke Lamora'. Basically I quickly blocked everything out in Modo (buildings are mostly duplicated and rotated) and then did an occlusion pass, a surface ID pass (for easy masking in Photoshop) and a depth pass. Heads up for the breakdown!
